Live closed captions are now available for Standard and Series events only.

The Live caption feature can be toggled between available and unavailable states in the Event Customize options, under the Room card. Only the Host can toggle this feature on.

This toggle is responsible for showing the CC button in the Room, which is also only visible to the Host.

NOTE: When CC is enabled in the room, there is an expected 1-3 second delay before the live captions are enabled for everyone in the room.

When the Host toggles CC in the event settings or in the Room, all other Hosts in the Room will be notified.

Captions will show at the bottom of the screen, but above the room controls, and will display two lines at a time (the top line will be replaced as a new line is added). Any material being shared in the room will show above the captions.

Disabling captions will result in captions no longer being displayed in the Room. The Host can enable/ disable as they wish. Once disabled, any available space will be used up by any materials being shared.

Changes to Header

The left top panel with webinar info shows only status. When you hover over that, it will also show the company logo and webinar name.

Live Closed Captions are available on the Premium plan or higher. If you already have a paid Demio plan and want to upgrade to the Premium plan to enable live captions, you can follow these steps to upgrade from within your Billing Settings to move to the Premium plan.
