How to transfer account ownership to a different person on Demio.

Sometimes things happen, people leave the company, get promoted, move departments, and suddenly the person who was in charge of your Demio account no longer is.

Additionally, ensuring account security during transitions is important; verifying ownership and following proper security protocols safeguards the account's information and integrity.

Not to worry, we have a few quick steps here to help you get that account ownership transferred over to a new person so you can ensure the best person always has access to that main Demio account!

This process not only ensures continuity but also enhances the security and control of the account by confirming proper ownership transfer.

How to Change Account Ownership

  1. Log in to Your Account: Use the email currently associated with your Demio account to log in.

  2. Navigate to Account Settings: Go to the Profile tab within your account settings to find the option to switch owner.

From here, all you will need to do is change the email field to the new email address you would like to be in charge of the Demio account and click Save Settings:

That's it! That new email will now be used to log in as the main account holder of your Demio account!

What if That Email is Being Used?

In some cases, you may already have that email you'd like to use as the new main account email added as a Team Member.

If that is the case, you will first go to the Team section of the Profile settings and remove that Team Member's email. After that, that email will be free to be added to the User Profile.

We highly recommend changing the password of your Demio account after changing the main account email, for ensured privacy and security. You can request a password reset from the login page.
