All Events on Demio will have an Activity section, and what is contained in that Activity section can be exported.
Request Data Export
Resources such as Polls, Handouts, and Featured Actions can be exported from the Insights tab.
Insights from individual Polls, Handouts, and Featured Actions generate a CSV file that can be downloaded on your device right away.
Messages, Questions, Resources Summary, and Messages Summary exports will be processed in the backend. When the file is ready, it will be sent over to the account's email address from which the export is requested. You will receive a ZIP file with the CSV exports inside.
Exports of the Registrants, Attendees, and people who Missed the Event will be processed in the backend too. When the file is ready, it will be sent over to the account's email address from which the export is requested. You will receive a CSV file or a ZIP file with the CSV export inside depending on the export's size.
Data Export Email
The export processing time depends on the amount of data to process and the queue on our end. If you click the Export button again while the previous export request is processing, you'll see an error message indicating that.
You can request the same export file only once every 24 hours. If new data is available, such as new registrants, you'll be able to request a new export sooner.
Once the export is ready, you will receive an email with the subject line: "Your file is ready to be downloaded". The Event name and Session time will be referenced in the email body.
The download link in the email will expire after 48 hours to protect your data. If you try opening an expired link, you will see the following message:
In this case, you can initiate a new data export request from your Demio account to generate a new link.
